Inside the Role
The Driver Experience Customer Domain develops HMI platforms for our Daimler Truck vehicle products for our global brands and markets. We provide innovative HMI solutions to our customers and their drivers. We are seeking a highly motivated Infotainment Integration Engineer for one our HMI platforms. Being part of our global development team, you will be a global function owner and will ensure we deliver with quality on time.

Position offers a starting salary range of $86,000 - $110,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive at DTNA

Lead the global development of HMI component functions (e.g. camera integration, personalization, infotainment)

Create technical concepts, requirements and specifications; project coordination; support of implementation and validation

Align and manage scope definition and scope changes incl. bug fixes

Align, create, and manage requirements and specifications incl. functional and non-functional aspects.

Ensure implementation and validation/verification of deliverables with internal and external partners

Create, align, track, maintain related timelines

Coordinate global stakeholders (e.g. requesters, internal teams, supplier, projects)

Oversee project responsibilities, including communication, milestone planning, and risk management, to meet on-time delivery goals.

Create documentation, reports, presentations
Knowledge You Should Bring
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology related field (e.g. Electrical Engineering)
-
Experience: 3+ years in function development and/or system integration
-
Strong background in features, systems and functions development incl. processes, methodologies, and tools

Experience with project management
-
Experience with automotive development processes

Experience with Engineering of commercial vehicles

Analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Tools: Vector tools, Monaco, Diagnostic Link, Jira, Confluence, Cplace, MS Office

Strong skills in communication and team coordination across global teams (considering different cultural backgrounds) especially with the US, Germany, and India

Proactive, confident, independent attitude

Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and ongoing change required.
Exceptional Candidates Might Have

Experience: several years in Daimler Truck HMI Component Development

Experience as Daimler Truck feature owner, system owner, function owner
