Job Description:
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite/2 days remote
Employment Type: 12 mo. Contract
Pay Range: $45-49/hr.
Role Overview
We are seeking an Information Security Specialist to support a new acquisition integration project. The individual will work with the project manager and team to create and document existing functions, identify criteria, and find gaps. The primary goal is to facilitate the transition of the acquired entity's security processes and tools into our established systems and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover and document the acquisition's vulnerability tool inventory and identify immediate gaps.
- Evaluate and assist in the integration or migration to the organization's standard tools.
- Analyze asset management processes for infrastructure, software, cloud, and containers to identify gaps.
- Review and document High-Value Asset (HVA/Tier 1 Assets) criteria, treatment, and inventory maintenance processes.
- Identify and define managed vulnerability scanning services, including contract terms and acquisition responsibilities.
- Evaluate vulnerability remediation performance against acquisition Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Assist in the transition to future state vulnerability scanning services and technology integration.
- Discover baseline configuration standards, management, and remediation processes.
- Assist in establishing quarterly vulnerability and baseline governance reviews.
- Attend meetings to drive results, document progress, and report regularly to management.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in business process design
- Experience with Visio/Lucid for process documentation
- Strong documentation
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Bitsight.
- Experience with ServiceNow.
- Cloud and container environment exposure
- Tenable scanner experience
- Wiz.io experience
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is estimated to be $45.00/hr - $49.00/hr. The final rate will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
