About the Position
Come join our team! The City of Saint Paul is hiring for a Human Resources Consultant I within the Talent and Acquisition section of the Human Resources Department. This position provides assistance with full cycle recruitment, job postings and internal processes.

Heres What You Can Expect to Do:
- Partner with departments and hiring managers to create and develop job postings and recruitment materials.
- Communicate and respond timely to routine applicant inquiries.
- Assist the team and departments with open houses, career fairs, and digital and print recruitment efforts, including handouts, job lists, and social media postings.
- Provide administrative support to the talent acquisition team.
- Track and maintain recruitment metrics for reporting purposes.
- Provide technical support to candidates and hiring managers using the applicant tracking system.

Information Specific to this Position:
This position is located at 25 West 4th Street, Annex Building. You will work a flexible (core hours are 8:00 to 4:30) hybrid schedule which requires designated days in the office, with Wednesday being a mandatory office day.

Position Requirements
Four years of work experience performing duties related to Human Resources functions.
Note:
- An Associate's Degree can be substituted for two years of experience.
- A Bachelor's Degree can be substituted for four years of experience.
