Apex Systems is hiring a Human Resources Consultant for a large Healthcare client.

Location: Pasadena, California (Partial Remote)

Role Overview

This role involves participating in, developing, and implementing company-wide HR programs and initiatives such as workforce planning and organizational change. The consultant will work with management to implement corporate policies related to human resources and organizational development. Key abilities for this position include coaching, influence, facilitation, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead workgroups with physicians.
• Create presentations using PowerPoint with data sets from Excel.
• Collaborate with various departments to assist leaders with compensation-based proposals.
• Lead or contribute to the implementation of HR roadmap and initiatives.
• Coach employees and management to grow leadership and team capabilities.
• Conduct investigations with urgency and complete necessary documentation.
• Advise clients on organizational and individual staff decisions, including employee relations, retention, and staffing.
• Interpret and uphold HR policies and practices.

Required Qualifications

Education: A bachelors degree is required.

Experience: 5-6 years of consulting experience are sought for this role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office is required.

General Skills: Must have expertise in areas such as change leadership, organizational design, talent development, compensation management, investigations, and employee relations. Excellent team building, conflict resolution, communication, and consulting skills are necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Masters degree is preferred.
• Experience with PeopleSoft is beneficial.
• SPHR certification is strongly preferred.
• Previous consultative experience with leaders.
