About the position
Nav St. Hanshaugen consists of approximately 130 committed and professionally strong employees. We are a Nav office in constant professional and organizational development. • Identify and provide advice and guidance to users who are at risk of losing, or who have lost, their home.
• Arrange viewings for users.
• Be with users on viewings.
• Conduct weekly housing searches.
• Assist in the process of entering into contracts, including deposits.
• Follow-up of users who are in overnight accommodation.
• Assist in the work of finding housing for refugees.
• Network building and follow-up of landlords.
• Case processing according to the Social Services Act.
• Case processing according to Section 17 of the Social Services Act.
• Participate in collaboration meetings with colleagues in Nav and in the district regarding common users.
Qualifications
• We are looking for people with a 3-year social work education from a college or university, such as a bachelor's degree in social work or welfare. Applicants with other relevant 3-year college or university education will also be considered.
• Experience from working with Nav's user group
• Good knowledge of Norwegian, both written and spoken
• Good computer skills and ability to familiarize yourself with new computer systems
• Knowledge of the Norwegian Tenancy Act
• Experience with users who have challenges with substance abuse/psychiatry.
• Knowledge of, and interest in, Nav's social mission
It is an advantage if you have
• Knowledge of the professional systems FASIT, MODIA and GOSYS.
• Experience in providing housing is desirable.
• Knowledge of the Social Services Act.
• Case processing experience under the Social Services Act.
• Previous experience with housing work.
