Compensation
$235,000 – $390,000+
A highly respected AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a Healthcare Litigation Associate Attorney to join its New York office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing hospitals, health systems, physician groups, managed care organizations, pharmaceutical companies, life sciences organizations, and other healthcare providers in sophisticated litigation and regulatory disputes.
Ideal Background
• 3–6 years of healthcare litigation, commercial litigation, or healthcare regulatory litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
• Experience representing health systems, hospitals, physician groups, insurers, managed care organizations, pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies, and other healthcare industry clients
• Experience handling complex commercial litigation, healthcare reimbursement disputes, payer-provider litigation, contract disputes, fraud and abuse matters, and regulatory enforcement actions
• Experience involving state and federal healthcare laws and regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and related regulatory frameworks is preferred
• Experience with all phases of litigation, including legal research, motion practice, discovery, depositions, witness preparation, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to independently manage sophisticated litigation matters while maintaining significant client interaction
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• New York bar admission required or ability to become admitted
