The Opportunity

As Head of Consumer Marketing, you'll play a critical role in shaping demand for our Direct Home, Motor, Motorcycle and Digi SME portfolio, leading integrated marketing strategies that build the brand, acquire customers and drive profitable growth.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who has successfully led large-scale consumer marketing programs before and can combine strategic thinking, commercial accountability and execution excellence to deliver meaningful business results.

Your New Role

As Head of Consumer Marketing, you will:

• Develop and lead the marketing strategy for QBE's Direct Home, Motor, Motorcycle and Digi SME business, driving customer acquisition, market share and profitable growth.
• Create and capture customer demand by balancing long-term brand building with high-performing acquisition and conversion activity.
• Own and optimise significant marketing investment, ensuring strong commercial outcomes across customer acquisition, growth and return on investment.
• Lead integrated, multi-channel marketing programs across brand, digital, media, partnerships and emerging channels to accelerate business performance.
• Leverage customer insights, market intelligence and analytics to improve awareness, consideration, quote conversion and policy growth.
• Build strong partnerships across Digital, Pricing, Analytics, Technology, Portfolio and Agency teams to deliver exceptional customer and business outcomes.

About You

You are a proven marketing executive who has successfully led customer acquisition and growth strategies at scale. You understand how to connect brand investment with commercial outcomes and have a track record of turning marketing investment into measurable business growth.

You will have:

• Proven experience as a Head of Marketing, Marketing Director or equivalent senior leader within retail, e-commerce, financial services or another high-volume consumer acquisition environment.
• Demonstrated success growing brands, customer bases and commercial outcomes through integrated marketing and customer acquisition strategies.
• Deep expertise across brand, media, performance marketing, customer acquisition and marketing effectiveness.
• Strong commercial acumen with accountability for significant marketing investment, acquisition economics and measurable growth outcomes.
• Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional teams behind a shared growth agenda.
• An energetic, credible and engaging leader with experience leading agencies and complex marketing programs to deliver exceptional business results.
