POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Grants Administrator will provide critical interim support for a portfolio of public grants and community-focused partnerships during a period of organizational transition. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with financial information, and motivated by process-driven work that supports a mission-focused organization.

PERKS:

  • $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience
  • Flexible 20-hour workweek
  • Remote schedule following initial in-person training in Seattle
  • Temporary assignment anticipated to last approximately 3 – 4 months, with potential to extend
  • Opportunity to support meaningful, community-focused nonprofit work within a collaborative and inclusive environment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate grant administration, reporting, invoicing support, and closeout activities across a portfolio of public and reimbursable grants.
  • Review expenditures, financial information, receipts, and supporting documentation for accuracy before submission to internal teams and funders.
  • Maintain organized and accurate grant records, deadlines, agreements, calendars, and reporting information within Salesforce and related systems.
  • Compile documentation and create complete reporting packages, including organized PDF materials and supporting financial records.

  • Comfort working with budgets, expenditures, invoices, reimbursements, or other financial data; formal accounting experience is not required.
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and detailed processes independently.
  • Experience working with databases, CRMs, project management systems, or similar technology; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Grant administration experience is helpful but not required; candidates with transferable experience in nonprofit administration, finance support, project coordination, contracts, billing, reporting, or related work are encouraged to apply.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This part-time opportunity offers $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience, with an anticipated schedule of 20 hours per week.
