Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to lead individual giving initiatives and oversee mission-driven events that increase donor engagement and revenue. This role will take ownership of outreach strategy, donor cultivation, and event execution while collaborating closely with communications leadership. The ideal candidate is proactive, strategic, and comfortable building systems that support long-term fundraising success.

Key Responsibilities:

Individual Giving & Donor Engagement

  • Design and implement a comprehensive individual donor outreach strategy.
  • Reconnect with past supporters while strengthening relationships with current contributors across various giving levels.
  • Develop customized funding proposals and confidently present asks in written, virtual, and in-person settings.
  • Coordinate with leadership and stakeholders to support donor stewardship efforts.

Fundraising Events & Campaigns

  • Plan and execute fundraising events that expand awareness, foster engagement, and generate revenue.
  • Align event messaging and outreach with broader communications initiatives.
  • Oversee logistics, timelines, and post-event follow-up to ensure seamless delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Analyze event results and recommend adjustments to enhance future performance.

Strategy & Operations

  • Build structured processes and workflows to strengthen fundraising infrastructure.
  • Track performance metrics and use data insights to guide decisions.
  • Manage priorities effectively to focus on high-impact initiatives.

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate donor records within CRM systems, including DonorPerfect (preferred).
  • Produce reports and leverage data for donor segmentation and targeted engagement strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 6+ years of experience in fundraising and event management.
  • Demonstrated success securing and stewarding donor contributions.
  • Experience rebuilding or strengthening individual donor programs.
  • Proficiency with a fundraising CRM platform (DonorPerfect strongly preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Nonprofit or association experience preferred.
