Job Summary

As a Field Reimbursement Manager, you will play a crucial role in our mission to support healthcare providers in delivering the innovative remedē System to patients. You'll work closely with our energetic Sales team to ensure seamless reimbursement and patient access, making a tangible difference in the lives of people with severe central sleep apnea (CSA).
Essential Functions
- Take initiative with Field Sales and the remedē Patient Access Program to resolve reimbursement issues with hospital/physician offices and where appropriate, individual patient cases, including patient access and coverage assistance.
- Educate hospitals/physician offices on coverage, coding and payment, including key changes that impact product access for patients.
- Provide reimbursement support to expand therapy access, including supporting the remedē reimbursement hotline.
- Work cross-functionally with medical/scientific affairs and commercial teams to support the company's goals in obtaining positive coverage decisions, including developing relationships with key physicians, hospital administrators, and other influencers.
- Support policy efforts through participation in specialty society and trade organization work groups and meetings and identifying physicians to assist with reimbursement or payor coverage policy advocacy.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 5+ years of proven experience in a market access/reimbursement role, preferably for Medical Device
- Certified Professional Coder certification or experience in billing/coding/revenue cycle management is highly desirable
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Detailed knowledge of medical device billing, coding (e.g., CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10).
- Detailed knowledge of payer coverage requirements, prior authorization, claim submission, adjudication and appeals processes.
- Broad knowledge of Medicare, managed care, third party payers and Medicaid.
- Understanding of hospital and physician office financial systems and management practices.
- Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills including developing relationships at all levels in an organization and directly influencing business objectives.
- High attention to detail and customer support.
- Knowledge/experience in Sleep Medicine and/or Cardiovascular therapies is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently and to accomplish tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-player mindset and collaborative problem-solver.
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 30% of working hours
