About Aiforia

Aiforia is a global leader in AI-powered image analysis, transforming biomedical research and clinical decision-making. Our cloud-based deep learning solutions empower pathologists and scientists in industry, diagnostics, and academia to analyze complex medical images with unprecedented speed and accuracy.

At Aiforia, we are on a mission to provide better care for every patient by revolutionizing pathology through digital innovation.

The Role

We are looking for a Field Application Scientist (FAS) to join our growing US team. Reporting to the Director of the Global FAS team, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and clinical/scientific application. You will be the primary technical resource for our customers, ensuring their success from initial onboarding to project completion.

Location: Remote (US-based)

Employment Type: Full-time

Travel: Occasional regional and national travel for trade shows and client sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Onboarding & Success: Lead technical training and onboarding, enabling customers to master Aiforia's image analysis software and data interpretation.

  • AI Model Development: Maintain deep expertise in Aiforia's platform to assist users in annotating, training, and validating high-performance AI models.

  • Project Management: Coordinate technical aspects of client projects, providing proactive engagement and troubleshooting to ensure milestones are met.

  • Sales Support: Partner with the US Sales team to provide technical pre-sales support, including software demonstrations and technical scoping for quotes.

  • Voice of the Customer: Identify and communicate technical feedback to the internal product and science teams to drive continuous software improvement.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree in Biological, Medical, or Biomedical Science (PhD preferred).

  • Experience:

  • 4+ years of research experience involving pathology, microscopy, IHC, or molecular biology.

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a scientific or industry setting.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with microscopy images (histopathology, fluorescence, etc.).

  • Familiarity with conventional image analysis tools; knowledge of deep neural networks is a significant plus.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional project management and prioritization skills. You must be able to balance multiple client projects simultaneously while maintaining high service standards.

  • Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Why Join Aiforia?

  • Innovation: Work at the forefront of the medical AI revolution.

  • Culture: Join a supportive, multidisciplinary team with a low hierarchy and a mission-driven mindset.

  • Growth: Real opportunities for professional development in a rapidly scaling global tech company.
