Job Description:
Akkodis is seeking a Fiber Change Management Analyst for a Contract role with a client in Doral, FL or Rochester, NY (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will have strong telecommunications experience, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to support change events in a high‑availability network environment.
Rate Range: $30/hour to $35/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Fiber Change Management Analyst job responsibilities include:

Coordinate internal and vendor‑driven maintenance events for Crown Castle's fiber network.

Review and assess Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for accuracy, impact, and completeness.

Approve maintenance events and validate circuit impact assessments.

Conduct conflict analysis for internal/external maintenance and network outages.
-
Schedule and coordinate maintenance windows with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Research customer information to ensure accurate notification and proactive communication.

Manage incoming calls during maintenance windows via the CM Support Line to log progress and support field technicians.
Desired Qualifications:
-
3-5 years telecommunications experience required.

Hands-on knowledge in:
-
SONET, IP protocols & routing, Layer 2 switching, WDM, Dark Fiber services, OTDR testing
-
Experience with NMS alarm monitoring tools.

Familiarity with circuit inventory systems such as OSP Insight or Netcracker.
-
NOC or Operations experience preferred.
-
Exposure to Nortel, Infinera, or Lambda systems a plus.

Strong Microsoft Office proficiency.
-
Strong judgment, customer service focus, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.
-
2-4 years related service provider experience.
Preferred Systems/Certifications:
-
CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, Network+ (preferred)

Experience with:
-
Cisco routers/switches, Cisco ONS, Lucent DMX, Juniper MX/EX series, MRV & BGP, IPv6, JUNOS (preferred)
Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
