We’re on the lookout for a Freelance Creative Director, a bold, strategic creative leader who thrives at the intersection of big ideas and hands-on execution. This is a freelance role, and the work setup is remote, with flexibility for remote work. We are currently considering candidates based in California or New York, though exceptional remote talent will also be considered.

Your Background & Expertise:
- Extensive experience leading creative for brand experiences, campaigns, or experiential programs
- A strong portfolio featuring recognized, award-winning, or press-worthy work
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire multidisciplinary creative teams
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing breakthrough creative concepts that anchor immersive brand experiences and campaigns
- Owning mid-to-large-scale projects from initial vision through final execution, ensuring consistency across concept, narrative, and design
- Presenting creative ideas to clients with confidence, clarity, and storytelling that builds trust and excitement
- Guiding and mentoring art directors, copywriters, and creative partners to elevate both the work and the team
- Collaborating with creative leadership to resource projects, manage timelines, and align budgets with creative ambition
- Staying tapped into emerging trends, tools, and cultural shifts to continually raise the creative bar
Requirements:
- A seasoned creative leader with 10+ years of experience primarily within the experiential marketing space
- Comfortable managing people, projects, budgets, and timelines simultaneously
- A lifelong student of creativity who’s curious, courageous, and driven to innovate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment while maintaining creative quality
