What We Are Looking For
Persado is looking for a US English Content Localizer & Proofreader, eligible to work as a Freelance Contractor, joining our growing team.
What You Will Work On
- Collaborate with Brand Content Strategists to understand client requirements and campaign objectives
- Assist in crafting compelling content that inspires action, ensuring adherence to brand voice and tone
- Carefully proofread and edit content to ensure impeccable spelling, grammar, and syntax tailored for the US market
- Ensure that client revisions and tone of voice guidelines have been accurately implemented
- Ensure compliance with our clients' complex brand guidelines and legal requirements
What You Bring
Language & Expertise
- Exceptional command of US English (Native level), with a deep understanding of grammar, syntax, and orthographic rules
- A Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Journalism, or a related field is highly preferred; a Master’s degree is considered a strong plus
- Flawless writing and proofreading skills tailored to the US market, with impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to delivering perfect content
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- 2-4 years of professional copywriting/proofreading experience
- Experience in B2C digital marketing or advertising
- Familiarity with brands that have strict tone of voice and legal guidelines
- Up-to-date with US pop culture and current events
Marketing & Content Creation
- Ability to adopt and maintain brand voice across different clients
- Experience with multiple marketing channels (paid media, email, web, SMS, direct mail)
Technical & Software Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of CMS, HTML, graphic design, and email platforms (preferred)
Work Approach & Availability
- Client-facing experience is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Efficient, proactive, adaptable, and able to work under tight deadlines
- Availability within Greek business hours (typically 10:00 – 19:00 GR time)
Please note that this is a remote, hourly contractor role (freelance). The rate is 20–40 EUR / hour, with the final offer depending on your experience, location, and our current business needs.
