UBS Bank USA is seeking a Director, High Net Worth Lending Risk Specialist in Morrisville, NC.

We're looking for a Director, High Net Worth Lending Risk Specialist to:

• Oversee risk management across the High Net Worth Lending lifecycle, including identifying, assessing, and managing financial or non-financial risks, in line with the bank's risk appetite and policies.
• Guide and execute strategic risk initiatives for high-net-worth lending, delivering innovative solutions to Global Wealth Management clients in a solutions-first banking environment.
• Functionally own key business initiatives, ensuring coordination, prioritization, and successful delivery of critical objectives, navigating through governance processes.
• Support business risk forums by creating reports, dashboards, and presentations that highlight key performance and risk data for lending products and strategies.
• Monitor market conditions, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to stay ahead of emerging risks and opportunities, adjusting the business strategy and lending decisions accordingly.
• Assist in coordinating front-to-back processes, ensuring efficient execution and effectiveness of risk controls across the lending lifecycle.
• Develop and streamline lending reporting and analytics, using advanced tools to automate processes and deliver insights; Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Your expertise

Education & Experience Requirement

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics and Statistics, or related field of study plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as a Financial Risk Specialist, Regulatory Solutions Lead Project Manager and Business Analyst, Application Delivery Lead Business Analyst and Project Manager, IB Operations Specialist, or related occupation.

Position requires experience with the following:

• Project management tools including Visio
• reporting and data management tools including PowerBI, RStudio, Python, and Tableau
• business analysis tools including advanced Excel and PowerPoint; regulatory compliance and remediation
• presentation development; identifying and documenting process changes and system improvements; building and delivering financial or non-financial risk dashboards
• translating complex data into actionable insights and strategic proposals; risk governance framework (RGF)
• performing business analysis to define solution options and recommendations; risk control identification
