Job Description:

The Office of the King's Printer is seeking an energetic and confident individual capable of a high level of accuracy and attention to detail for the and publishing of legislative documents. The Office of the King's Printer has a print operation of various equipment for the purpose of producing high-quality, accurate, printed documents of government legislation, legal forms and various notices in The Saskatchewan Gazette. Strong research skills are required in order to analyze legislative materials for the production of legislative publications, including digitizing historical versions.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills in order to develop good relationships with stakeholders and staff. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing historical legislative documents to ensure accuracy for digitization. This position also assists with front entry enquiries by telephone and in-person as needed.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Windows operating system, networked environment, and experience with a variety of browsers. You will also have knowledge of the process for digitization of historical documents, and general knowledge of printing, publishing and digitization.

Typically, the knowledge required for this position would be obtained through post-secondary education, and experience understanding the legislative process would be an asset.

At this time, typical hours of work in this position are 60% or less. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, part-time hours of work are as assigned by management and are not guaranteed.
