Why Join Us?

Be part of a dynamic, outcome‑focused, and people‑first team across Berkshire and Newcastle, where talent, ideas, and collaboration are genuinely valued. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on how we deliver technology and how our brand is experienced, while building a meaningful career and helping to create a safer, more resilient future.

About the role

We’re looking for a commercially driven Digital Growth Lead to take ownership of how Cybit is discovered, experienced and converted in an AI-driven buying world.

This role requires a strong balance of technical skills and commercial awareness.

This role sits at the intersection of website, search, AI visibility and conversion. You will have the practical skills and experience to transform the Cybit website into a high-performing revenue engine and ensure we are visible when buyers research problems, solutions and suppliers not just through Google, but through LLM AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring that more of the right people find us, understand what we do and how we can benefit their business and choose us as their preferred Technology Partner.

What you’ll be doing

Own and optimise the website as a revenue generation platform

  • Position the website as a growth engine that clearly communicates Cybit’s value and differentiation
  • Optimise landing pages, site structure and user journeys to improve engagement and conversion

Drive AI search visibility (core to the role)

  • Assess Cybit’s visibility in AI-generated answers, identify competitor advantages and close gaps
  • Map how buyers use AI and search to find solutions and suppliers
  • Optimise content for AI discovery, citation and user experience

Improve search and digital discoverability

  • Strengthen technical SEO foundations for better performance and discoverability
  • Increase visibility beyond branded search through problem- and solution-led content
  • Build scalable content structures that support long-term growth

Optimise conversion

  • Own and optimise the end-to-end user journey, using data-driven testing and refinement
  • Focus on increasing visitor → lead conversion, not just traffic, through effective UX and CTAs

Structure content to demonstrate Cybit USP

  • Create clear, buyer-focused content that simplifies complex solutions
  • Drive engagement and conversion through effective content pathways and CTAs

Own integration and data flow

  • Manage website integration with HubSpot, Lead Forensics, Sales Navigator, Zoom webinar and CRM systems plus any others identified.
  • Ensure seamless lead capture and accurate data flow, deliver visitor insight, reporting and campaign tracking

Drive measurable growth

  • Drive qualified, non-branded traffic, leads and pipeline
  • Report on commercial impact, not just channel metrics

About You

  • Highly proficient in WordPress, including site structure, performance, plugins and optimisation
  • Have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and general front-end behaviour
  • Are comfortable independently troubleshooting and improving site performance
  • Understand how technical decisions impact search visibility, user experience and conversion
  • Are confident managing integrations with CRM and marketing platforms (e.g. HubSpot)
  • Comfortable discussing conversion rates and buyer journeys as you are technical optimisation.
  • Commercially minded and focused on driving growth, visibility and conversion.
  • Experienced in website development, SEO and conversion optimisation.
  • Data-driven, with the ability to turn insight into action.
  • Focused on user journeys and outcomes, not just platforms and features.
  • Confident challenging the status quo and recommending the right solutions for the business.
  • Curious about AI, how it's changing search and buyer behaviour, and willing to experiment with new approaches.
  • Comfortable working with tools that help understand user behaviour and drive performance improvements, such as Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Heatmapping and user behaviour tools (e.g. Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity), conversion tracking and funnel analysis.
  • Experience with A/B testing or structured optimisation approaches is highly valuable.
  • Ability to assess when different platforms are appropriate and make recommendations accordingly.

Search, structure and AI-readiness

The website must be built for both human users and machine interpretation, you should have:

  • A strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals
  • Experience improving site structure and internal linking, Metadata and indexing and page performance
  • Familiarity with structured content and schema markup (e.g. Schema.org)
  • An understanding of how content clarity, structure and authority influence AI-driven search and answer engines
  • We are particularly interested in candidates who recognise that search is evolving from “keywords and rankings” to “understanding, summarisation and recommendation”

Experience with the following is highly desirable:

  • Webflow – for agile, high-performance, design-led marketing websites
  • HubSpot CMS – for tight alignment between website, CRM, automation and lead generation
  • Headless CMS platforms (e.g. Contentful, Sanity) – for scalable, API-driven architectures
  • Familiarity with modern front-end approaches (e.g. React / Next.js) is a bonus

 What Success Looks Like

  • Deliver an industry-recognised digital brand that builds awareness, trust and engagement.
  • Create a website that clearly communicates Cybit’s expertise and value proposition.
  • Drive growth in high-intent traffic, conversions, qualified leads and pipeline.
  • Increase Cybit’s visibility in AI-driven search and discovery.
  • Deliver a seamless, commercially effective digital experience.
  • Own and execute a clear digital strategy and roadmap focused on innovation, performance and ROI.
