Professional Services Solution Architect – Japan

About the Role

Blue Planet is seeking a seasoned OSS Professional Services Solution Architect to join our dynamic team in Japan. This role is ideal for a solution architect with deep expertise in OSS and telecommunications, who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about delivering transformative OSS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, integrated OSS software solutions on time and within budget, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Lead implementation efforts and provide strategic guidance across Blue Planet’s product suite.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Navigate complex client relationships and implementation challenges with professionalism.
• Identify and mitigate implementation risks using best technical practices.
• Provide thought leadership in solution architecture, business process design, and configuration.
• Support product strategy, development, and sales teams with insights and feedback.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of Blue Planet offerings and industry trends.
• Manage project tasks, timelines, and team activities effectively.
• Promote a positive, professional, and responsive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical/functional leadership roles.
• Minimum 10 years in telecommunications and OSS project implementation.
• Proven ability to resolve multi-dimensional issues and lead large-scale projects.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English; Japanese language proficiency is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in the Blue Planet product suite, with a focus on Inventory and systems integration.
• Deep understanding of telecommunications protocols and network technologies.
• Strong time management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and navigate complex client relationships.
• Experience mentoring and developing consulting talent.
