About the role

This role sits within a Transformation Team - a small, high-impact group of data analysts and analytics engineers responsible for Improvado's transformation layer: SQL DataMarts, custom pipelines, and analytics products (Martech Recipes, Attribution/MMM, DataPrep) that turn raw marketing data into clean, client-ready datasets. As Senior Product Owner/Analyst, you'll own technical delivery on complex client accounts, build and automate analytics workflows, and drive product quality through a combination of deep SQL expertise and applied AI. You will own a product, write data transformation logic, build automation, and directly solve complex technical problems—rather than managing from afar.

Responsibilities

• Drive the product roadmap and end-to-end delivery on complex client implementations: SQL DataMarts, custom pipelines, MarTech Recipes, Attribution, and DataPrep
• Partner with the engineering team to design, prioritize, and ship new product features, while refining and fixing existing logic
• Focus on marketing data optimization (attribution models, campaign tracking, and funnel performance) to drive client results
• Build and maintain automated analytics workflows using AI tools, scripting, and modern data stack (dbt)
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production data pipeline issues, including direct client-facing escalations
• Identify opportunities to replace manual processes with scalable, AI-driven solutions
• Collaborate with Product, BI, and CSM/TCS teams on architecture decisions and client data requirements
• Contribute to SOPs and documentation for transformation processes

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience applying AI tools to automate analytics or data workflows: Claude Code, prompt engineering, agentic coding to accelerate development, write tests, optimize complex problems, and ship faster
• Product ownership/ product management proven experience — able to take a problem end-to-end with minimal hand-holding
• Experience building and scaling an AI agent and ability to make it reliable
• Strong SQL skills required; dbt or similar transformation-tooling experience strongly preferred
• Hands-on ETL/ELT pipeline experience (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or ClickHouse) - nice-to-have
• Experience troubleshooting production data pipelines and resolving data quality issues
• Marketing or revenue data domain experience
• Availability to work full US Eastern Time (ET) hours with future relocation to Latin America
• Fluent English (able to have client calls)

• Python for data processing and automation
• Experience working directly with clients on technical requirements
• BI tools (e.g., Superset) for operational reporting
