As a Data Product Manager - Customer and Employee, you will take ownership of the Customer & Employee data domain within Core Data Assets, shaping and delivering the product vision, roadmap, and priorities. You will work closely with stakeholders to convert business needs into impactful data solutions, while supporting teams in shifting from a project-based approach to a product-led mindset.
In this role, you will lead the strategy, vision, and delivery of data products, drive improved decision-making and enable stronger outcomes across the organisation.
This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne).
What You''ll Do
- Define and drive the strategy, vision, and roadmap for Customer & Employee data products
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing data and engineering team.
- Build a connected and cohesive team culture following the integration of two teams
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into product outcomes
- Oversee end-to-end delivery, ensuring quality, compliance, and ecosystem integration
- Identify capability gaps and implement training and uplift initiatives
- Champion data governance, privacy, and best practices while leveraging enterprise and AI capabilities
What You'll Bring
- Strong experience in data product management including strategy, roadmap, and delivery
- Proven people leadership, with the ability to lead and uplift technical teams
- Solid technical expertise across data platforms (SQL, dbt, GCP, BigQuery, Python)
- Experience in designing and managing data product architecture and engagement models
- Strong stakeholder management with the ability to translate business needs into outcomes
- Solid understanding of data governance, privacy, risk management and enterprise data practices
- Collaborative, problem-solving mindset with a focus on team integration and performance
