Job Description:
Candidates who reside within 50 miles of the following locations may be asked to work in person three days per week: Bloomfield, CT, Chattanooga, TN, Denver, CO, St Louis, MO, or Scottsdale, AZ.
The Data Measurement & Reporting Advisor plays a critical role in turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that help leaders make better decisions. This role supports Data Management & Reporting within DS&I by designing standardized performance analytics, building trusted reporting solutions, and elevating how insights are shared across the organization. You will partner closely with functional leaders and technical teams to ensure data tells a meaningful story that drives performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement standardized operational performance analytics that align to DS&I priorities and enterprise objectives.
- Develop clear measurement frameworks, including data definitions and methodologies, to ensure consistent and reliable performance reporting.
- Build, automate, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that translate complex data into actionable insights for leaders and stakeholders.
- Analyze operational performance trends, identify risks and opportunities, and clearly communicate key drivers of results.
- Conduct root cause analysis using statistical techniques to explain performance variation and inform decision making.
- Deliver executive level and summary reporting that highlights outcomes, insights, and recommended actions.
- Collaborate with IT partners and cross-functional teams to improve data pipelines, reporting processes, and analytics solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation, job aids, and templates that support scalable and repeatable reporting practices.
- Manage work with a strong focus on quality, timelines, and stakeholder expectations, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher strongly preferred in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
- 5+ years of experience driving insights from large and complex data sets in an analytics, reporting, or data-focused role required
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (Oracle or T-SQL), including complex queries, joins, and data validation across multiple sources required.
- Experience with analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, SAS and SQL required.
- Expereince with Python, SSIS or similar technologies preferred.
- Experience designing and delivering operational performance reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions required.
- Demonstrated ability to apply statistical analysis techniques such as regression, variance analysis, or trend analysis to business problems highly preferred.
- Strong ability to translate technical analysis into clear, business-focused insights and recommendations required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for advanced analysis, reporting, and executive presentations required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders required.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and data quality required.
Qualifications - Preferred
- Experience building or supporting automated ETL processes and reporting pipelines.
- Familiarity with provider, contract, demographic, or healthcare-related data domains.
- Experience working in Agile or matrixed team environments.
- Demonstrated success leading or influencing data-driven process improvements across teams.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,700 - 161,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
