Cybersecurity Analyst

6-month contract

Primarily remote, occasional onsite in Chicago area

Strong preference for Chicago-area resident

Cybersecurity Analyst needed to audit and assist with system configuration clean up, especially service account in MS systems. Will help with policy updates and reconciliation, build audit schedule and perform data analysis, participate in 3rd party security assessments, etc. 

Requirements:

·        Must have strong experience in finding issues, especially in MS M365/AD environments (be technical savvy)

·        Able to propose changes and design a plan to safely make those changes

·        Able to make changes once approved while coordinating with team members

·        Possess deep knowledge of best practices and policies

·        Experienced with NIST and CIS CSAT

·        Familiarity with FortiEDR, FortiSIEM, and Fortinet firewalls

·        Excellent research and analysis skills

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

·        Able to work directly for any U.S. employer without working through a 3rd party/sponsor

·        Live in/near Northern Chicago area
