• We are hiring immediately for a full-time and part-time CULINARY AMBASSADOR position.
• Location: Nebraska Training Table - 1210 Vine Street, Lincoln, NE 68588. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time. Midday shift, Monday through Friday; occasional weekend hours required. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous high-volume catering or food service experience preferred.
• Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available
• Pay Range: $18.00 per hour to $21.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Monitors customers and makes recommendations for their diets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages food allergens.
• Modifies menus according to diet prescriptions.
• Provides basic diet information throughout a patient's stay.
• Acts according to Joint Commissions/CMS standards and regulations for infection prevention control.
• Communicates with patients, their visitors and the hospital's care team.
• Resolves patient dining concerns or complaints immediately.
• Reports a patient's need for assistance to a supervisor or the care team, as appropriate.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Follows all sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to push and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills.
