Job Summary
Join Community Food Share as our Corporate & Community Relations Coordinator and help expand and strengthen relationships that support our mission through engagement, drives, and promotions.
Working closely with the Corporate Relations Manager, this position focuses on implementing engagement strategies and providing excellent partner experiences. The coordinator manages logistics for corporate and community partnerships, hosts volunteer groups, and supports cause marketing and community promotions.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys building connections, managing details, and representing Community Food Share in the community.
Fluency in Spanish is preferred, with the ability to read, write, speak, and translate effectively.
A typical work schedule would be Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm. Working after hours, holidays and weekends may be expected.
Essential Responsibilities
Corporate & Community Outreach: Serve as the primary point of contact for corporations, businesses, and community groups seeking to engage with Community Food Share through volunteerism, drives, and promotions. Maintain ongoing communication with existing partners to encourage repeat participation and deepen engagement. Support execution of partnership strategies set by the Corporate Relations Manager and Director of Philanthropy, ensuring seamless implementation and timely follow-up.
Community Promotions & Cause Marketing: Proactively identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities with local businesses, organizations, and schools to expand annual cause marketing and community promotion initiatives. Conduct outreach to prospective partners to introduce Community Food Share’s mission and available engagement opportunities. Solicit in-kind donations and auction items from businesses and community members to enhance event fundraising and engagement. Support campaign implementation through logistics, collateral coordination, and partner communication. Track participation, collect results, and share impact data with the Corporate Relations Manager for reporting and stewardship.
Volunteer Group Hosting & Support: Serve as the lead host and coordinator for all volunteer groups, ensuring a welcoming and mission-centered experience. Provide tours, presentations, and on-site support for groups volunteering at Community Food Share. Collaborate with the Volunteer Services to coordinate logistics for group visits and to ensure seamless group experiences, inclusive of follow-up, and alignment with operational needs. Refer opportunities involving monetary or sponsorship support to the appropriate Philanthropy team member.
Food & Fund Drive Coordination: Lead the coordination of in-person and virtual food and fund drives across the service area. Respond to incoming inquiries, support groups with materials and guidance, and ensure timely follow-up. Collaborate with internal teams to track donations and recognize participating groups. Develop new tools, templates, and systems to make participation more efficient and rewarding for partners.
Cross-Team Collaboration & Representation: Collaborate with the Events & Outreach Coordinator and other Philanthropy staff to ensure alignment across events, campaigns, and communications. Represent Community Food Share at outreach events, volunteer days, and community fairs as needed. Maintain accurate CRM records for all corporate and community engagement activities.
Culture
Promote collaboration and communication among all Community Food Share staff to ensure successful program implementation and ongoing program support.

Participate in strategic planning within department in alignment with organizational goals.

Travel
Travel locally in-service area may be required, as well as occasional overnight travel for events and conferences.

Qualifications & Skills

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in communications, nonprofit management, or a related field; or minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience with corporate or community engagement, volunteer coordination, or campaign implementation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems (Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred), and online campaign tools (e.g., Classy).
Fluency in Spanish preferred; ability to read, write, speak, and translate effectively. A minimum of 3 years of experience in research and grant writing; nonprofit experience a plus.

Remote Work Eligibility:
This position is classified as eligible for a hybrid remote work schedule.
- Hybrid is defined as being at the discretion of the supervisor and dependent upon the needs of the organization and the job responsibilities, as well as any public health orders which may be in effect at the time.
- Hybrid workers may be required to flex their schedules to work several days in the facility and must be able to be in the facility within 48 hours of being notified to appear.
- Hybrid workers must be domiciled in the state of Colorado. Hybrid workers are assigned private offices or cubicles onsite as they may be required to work frequently in the facility. Community Food Share will provide IT equipment for work performed in the facility; a laptop may or may not be available for remote work.
- Hybrid workers will be required to have access to a stable, secure internet connection. (TEAM ORANGE HYBRID)
Work Environment
Community Food Share operates in a working warehouse environment. 90% of this time this position will be in an office environment; 10% may be spent in the warehouse or our in the community. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving equipment. The employee may be exposed to high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold in the walk-ins. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud with machinery and equipment in operation.

Pay for this position starts between $27.00 and $29.50 per hour.
