About the Role:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Accountant to join our team. This position is primarily work from home, with regular travel required to our Head Office in Maryborough, QLD. This is a busy role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for the execution and management of a variety of accounting practices, including accounts receivable and payable, reconciling the general ledger, compliance with the relevant authorities and implementing internal control procedures.

 

Your days will be busy and varied, and will include: 

 

Financial Reporting & Processes

Accounts Receivable & Credit Risk Management

Accounts Payable & Cash Control

Supporting the payroll process

Oversee and assist Contracts Administration

Other Adhoc Accounting Duties

 

About You:

 

You will thrive in this role if you have a positive attitude to work and are willing to be trained. 

 

• Experience and qualifications in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties and functions.
• Understanding or ability to obtain understanding of Contract processes.
• Experience in payroll processing and compliance including payroll tax and workcover.
• Experience in the preparation and lodgment of BAS, FBT, and GST statements
• Understanding of Accounts terminology, processes, and procedures.
• Experience in implementing process and procedures.
• Excellent Data Entry skills, including high level of Accuracy.
• Disciplined to work autonomously and within a team environment.
