• Take ownership of content production and develop strategic plans for both internal and external communications, serving as the primary liaison across various departments for the Events space

About the Role

Join Suncorp's Shannons team to deliver engaging content across events, partnerships, and digital channels. You will connect teams across brand, marketing, and events to create high-impact storytelling that builds awareness and drives participation. This role combines strategy, creativity, and performance insight to support business growth.

What You'll Do

• Lead the events content program, ensuring delivery aligns to timelines, budgets, and strategic objectives while supporting measurable business outcomes.
• Collaborate with brand, marketing, and external partners to create aligned content that strengthens customer engagement and brand presence.
• Develop and optimise content across social, video, blogs, and media channels to maximise reach and audience interaction.
• Analyse performance data and translate insights into practical improvements that enhance event ROI and engagement outcomes.
• Provide guidance to internal teams, partners, and ambassadors to ensure consistent, high-quality content aligned with brand standards.
• Attend events to capture content, build relationships, and support activation aligned to customer and commercial goals.

What You'll Bring

• Experience in content planning, journalism, or media, with the ability to create and deliver multi-channel campaigns that drive engagement.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and content performance analysis, using insights to improve outcomes and customer reach.
• Capability in stakeholder engagement, working across teams and with external partners to deliver coordinated content initiatives.
• Practical experience in content production, including photography or videography, or the ability to brief and manage specialists effectively.
• Commercial awareness, using customer insights and data to support brand growth and event success.
• Interest or involvement in the motoring community, helping create authentic and relevant content.
