BreachLock is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful Content & Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our high-growth team. This is a full-time, fully remote role for someone with 1–3 years of experience who's ready to own their work from ideation to execution in cybersecurity marketing. 

What You'll Do 

• Write, edit, and publish SEO-focused blog posts on a consistent schedule.
• Support long-form content creation like eBooks and guides in collaboration with SMEs and the broader marketing team. 
• Draft and help place contributed articles and bylines in industry publications. 
• Create, manage, and schedule posts across our social media platforms, primarily LinkedIn. 
• Assist with graphic design tasks using tools like Canva. 
• Repurpose existing long-form content into new formats — social posts, email copy, summaries, slides, etc. 
• Edit drafts from freelancers and internal subject matter experts to ensure brand voice alignment. 
• Track content and social performance, report on what's working, and propose meaningful changes. 

Requirements

What We're Looking For 

• 1–3 years of full-time experience in content marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. Tech and/or cybersecurity experience is strongly preferred. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in U.S. English, with a sharp eye for structure and clarity. 
• Familiarity with posting on LinkedIn and X as professional channels. 
• Basic design skills (Canva is fine, but Adobe Illustrator is a huge plus!). 
• Fluent with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini as part of your day-to-day workflow, with the ability to tell good output from output that needs work. 
• A working understanding of SEO fundamentals (keyword research, meta descriptions, internal linking) — or the drive to pick them up quickly. 
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. When you don't know how to do something, your instinct is to figure it out. 
• Organizational skills to move several pieces of content through different stages at once without dropping the ball. 
• Comfortable receiving feedback and fast at applying it. 

Nice to Have 

• Experience writing for a tech or cybersecurity audience. If you don't have it, a genuine interest in the space is the baseline — our readers are CISOs and security practitioners. 
• Experience working with subject matter experts to turn technical material into readable content. 
• Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar marketing platform. 
• Light video editing experience converting longform videos into reels.
