Who You Are
Are you a problem solver with a passion for real estate and market research? Join our Advisory team as a Consultant. The ideal candidate is an inquisitive problem solver with the skills and knowledge to contribute to the synthesis of conclusions and key recommendations. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in real estate development, homebuilding, and market research. The ideal candidate will be familiar with all real estate land uses, with a particular focus on home building and residential space. The candidate must manage shifting priorities, and multi-task to meet deadlines.
Success in this role will have opportunities for advancement in the firm and larger roles on consulting assignments. You will work with some of the most careful researchers in the industry to create industry-leading viewpoints.
What You Will Do
- Combine creative and analytical thinking to drive solutions.
- Support research processes (feasibility analysis, strategic market planning, demand/supply considerations, etc.).
- Conduct primary and secondary research on residential real estate industry and demographic trends, market conditions, interviews, and site visits.
- Analyze and synthesize market data into actionable recommendations.
- Create exhibit packages for consulting assignments.
- Prepare and present findings to the project teams and advisory leaders and engage with clients.
- Contribute to internal initiatives and ad-hoc projects as needed.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, economics or related field (graduate degree a plus).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in market research, consulting, or the home-building industry preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with professionals at all levels.
- Limited travel (usually not more than 10%), with a valid driver’s license for field work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Organized, reliable, trustworthy, dedicated individual.
