Job Description:
The Conference and Special Events Lead is responsible for strategy, execution and leadership of internal & external conferences and special events across ADI. This role will work collaboratively with the Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure all events are strategically planned, properly scoped, deliverables clearly identified, & key milestones established so the entire process from beginning to end of an event is well executed. Including working with external event support teams and vendors. The Conference and Special Events lead is responsible for ensuring the overall performance of all events they own--including managing their P&L, reporting financials, and timely reporting and project management. As part of the Global Events team, they will own a subset of events, from owning our domestic and international sales kick off events, product conferences, incentive program, investor and customer events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position is currently set as an individual contributor role.
JOB DUTIES
- Own the overall strategy for conferences and proprietary events, defining the vision, standards, and playbooks for scalable, high-impact event execution including leading all planning, execution and logistics.
- Execute multiple events of varying sizes simultaneously across multiple internal and external teams, departments, and stakeholders - tracking strategy, stakeholders, milestones, and tasks with assigned teams end to end. Lead end-to-end logistics, vendor management, budgeting and operational execution.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Product Management, Content, Design, Sales, Marketing Operations, and Executive Leadership to design and execute successful events.
- Lead teams and projects - Identify and work with stakeholders to either remove barriers or escalate issues that block the team's ability to meet project objectives and help minimize project delivery risks.
- Communicate objectives, timelines, and approval framework for cross-team understanding by providing timely status reports and identifying and implementing process improvements during project development.
- Manage end-to-end execution of programs, including budget ownership, agency and vendor selection, contract negotiation, production, and on-site delivery.
- Drive operational rigor by building scalable processes, toolkits, and workflows that improve collaboration, increase efficiency, and support global program growth.
- Create strategic objectives, target audience profile, core messaging and narrative.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 10+ years' experience in Project Management, Branded Events, or related Marketing position
- Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools.
- Successfully led large-scale accounts & managed multiple projects across multiple programs, including proficiency with budgets, scheduling, and resource planning.
- Ability to lead & inspire cross functional teams at all levels, influence and build strong professional relationships.
- Proficient in Office applications: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a high performing and demanding environment.
- Create and analyze data, translating that into recommendations for improvement.
- Effectively communicate with staff on all levels of the organization.
- Ability to process and translate P&L reports for assigned events.
- Strategic event portfolio of leadership roles/execution

Hiring Salary RangeThe typical hiring salary for this role, ranges from USD $120145.45 to $179250.91 per year but varies by specific work location. Within a range, Resideo determines base pay for an individual based on various factors, including market conditions, skills, and experience.
Incentive Eligible (RBP)This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus of up to 10% of the annual base salary. The bonus is contingent upon both individual and company performance.
