Job Description:

The Compliance Analyst supports the firm’s compliance, quality assurance, and quality control activities across legal and operational processes in a creditor rights environment. The Analyst reviews work for compliance with client directives, firm procedures, and applicable requirements; helps determine whether processes are working as intended; and identifies gaps, trends, and areas for improvement. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, eager to learn, and comfortable communicating findings. Training will be provided to help the Analyst develop knowledge of the firm’s requirements, workflows, systems, and third-party platforms.

Schedule and Location: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This position is based in the Boca Raton, Florida office; however, a remote work arrangement may be considered.

Duties:

·         Conduct compliance audits, quality assurance reviews, and quality control checks across the firm’s legal and operational processes using established guidance and review criteria.

·         Review work against client directives, firm standard operating procedures, policies and procedures, and applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

·         Help determine whether processes and controls are operating as intended and identify exceptions, gaps, trends, or potential risks.

·         Document the work performed, information reviewed, and conclusions reached in a clear, accurate, and objective manner.

·         Assist with analyzing findings, identifying possible root causes, and supporting corrective or preventive actions.

·         Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations and communicate findings to appropriate stakeholders.

·         Track corrective actions and conduct follow-up reviews when needed.

·         Develop working knowledge of firm workflows, internal systems, third-party platforms, and applicable requirements.

·         Handle confidential information appropriately and demonstrate integrity, objectivity, and sound judgment.

·         Support improvements to review methods, reporting, procedures, and compliance controls.

·         Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

       Strong attention to detail and an interest in compliance, quality, audit, or process improvement work.

·         Basic analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to objectively review work and existing procedures, recognize discrepancies and ask appropriate questions.

·         Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

·         Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

       Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

·         Previous internship, coursework, or work experience involving compliance, quality assurance, quality control, auditing, risk, or process review.

·         Exposure to creditor rights, legal services, financial services, or another regulated environment.

·         Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, PivotTables, trend identification, or reporting.

·         Experience preparing summaries or presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.

·         Familiarity with root-cause analysis, issue tracking, corrective actions, or process improvement.

·         Experience with case management systems, workflow platforms, or third-party data sources.

·         Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
