Job Description

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation & Real Estate Workouts Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing local, national, and international clients in sophisticated commercial litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on commercial real estate loan defaults and workouts.

Ideal Background

• 1–5 years of litigation experience gained in a law firm and/or judicial clerkship

• Experience handling commercial litigation, business disputes, or complex civil litigation matters

• Experience with commercial real estate loan defaults, workouts, creditors' rights, or distressed real estate matters preferred

• Experience with pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trial preparation

• Experience litigating matters in state and federal courts preferred

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills

• Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials required

• Ability to manage cases while working collaboratively within a team environment

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

• Minnesota bar admission required or ability to waive in
