At Medibank, our purpose is Better Health for Better Lives. We’re looking for an experienced Coding Auditor / Health Information Manager to help ensure the accuracy and integrity of hospital claims across our provider network.

 

The Opportunity

In this role, you will:

• Hybrid - desktop with some onsite auditing
• Assess risk, execute audit programs and present clear findings
• Prepare high‑quality audit reports
• Build strong relationships with providers and internal teams
• Support benefit recovery and continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay current with ICD‑10‑AM/ACHI changes and coding standards

 

About You

You’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management
• Clinical Coding Auditor certification
• 5+ years auditing experience and 5+ years tertiary hospital coding
• Strong knowledge of ICD‑10‑AM/ACHI/ACS and DRG/casemix models
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with EHR systems

Nice to have: Experience in private health insurance.
