About the Role

Title: Character Animator (Spine), Freelance

Location: Remote 

Workplace: Fully remote

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced 2D Character Animator to create vibrant and expressive animations for game characters.

Responsibilities

  • Create character animations in Spine (idle, attack, abilities, emotions)
  • Convey personality through movement, posing, and timing
  • Collaborate closely with the project’s Art Lead
  • Prepare assets for integration into the game

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of anatomy, movement, and classical animation principles
  • Solid experience working with Spine
  • Ability to create dynamic, readable, and “alive” character animations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Fluent Russian is a must

Nice to have

  • Experience creating or adjusting VFX / effects
