Job Description

- High-Touch Patient Support: Provide direct, personalized support to patients >90% of the time through phones and messages primarily focused on pharmacy needs
- Troubleshoot Pharmacy Cases: Address and resolve standard pharmacy-related inquiries and issues
- Customer Service: Deliver excellent service with a focus on maintaining customer satisfaction
- Communication Across Teams: Engage with other teams to support patient needs and improve the overall experience
- Patient Escalations: Handle patient escalations, providing resolution and ensuring satisfaction
- Process Improvement: Provide feedback on common issues or workflow improvements from patient interactions
- Standard Workflow Execution: Follow predefined workflows for fulfilling pharmacy needs, adhering to standard timeframes and processes
- Empathy & Support: Demonstrate empathy in all patient interactions, focusing on resolving issues.
A Bit About You
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience working in a high volume pharmacy working with patients and providers
- An active pharmacy technician license in good standing with the Texas or Colorado Board of Pharmacy, free of any disciplinary actions
- Ability to learn and operate a new pharmacy management system and other relevant programs
- Ability to interpret, transcribe, and troubleshoot prescription information
- Ability to perform common math calculations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with specialty claims adjudication
- Experience submitting and managing Prior Authorizations and TAR's
- Experience with Fertility and Specialty medications

Additional Physical Job Requirements
Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds. The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.
