About Nurra
Nurra supports patients with complex healthcare needs through high-touch, compassionate care coordination. We combine human connection with thoughtful systems and technology to help patients feel supported, informed, and cared for.
We're a fast-growing, mission-driven startup: patients are why we exist, and everyone here is genuinely passionate about helping them. We look out for one another and want every teammate to show up as their true self.
About the role
We’re hiring a Care Navigator / Patient Advocate to work closely with patients and help them navigate their healthcare journey. This is a patient-facing role for someone who is deeply empathetic, highly organized, and comfortable using technology throughout the day.
This role is a strong fit for someone who loves helping people, communicates warmly and clearly, and can stay on top of tasks, follow-ups, and changing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
What you’ll do
-
Build trusting relationships with patients through consistent, supportive outreach
-
Help patients navigate appointments, referrals, care plans, and next steps
-
Provide high-touch support that makes patients feel seen, heard, and cared for
-
Coordinate across systems and workflows to keep patient needs moving forward
-
Document interactions carefully and maintain strong follow-through
-
Collaborate with a growing team to improve processes and patient experience
-
Adapt as tools, workflows, and internal systems evolve
What we’re looking for
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Genuine empathy and a strong instinct for patient-centered support
-
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-
Comfort working in multiple browser tabs, platforms, and digital tools
-
Resilience and adaptability in a startup-style environment
-
Ability to balance warmth with efficiency and execution
Helpful backgrounds
We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds, including:
-
Care navigation
-
Patient advocacy
-

-

-
Are entering healthcare as a second career and feel strongly called to this work
What success looks like
Success in this role means patients feel genuinely supported, communication is handled with care, and follow-up tasks are managed reliably and efficiently. The right person for this role is both compassionate and tech-comfortable: someone who can connect with patients while also navigating evolving tools and processes with confidence.
If you’re excited about helping patients, thrive in dynamic environments, and want to be part of a team building a thoughtful model of care, we’d love to hear from you.
