Job Description:

Performs diversified secretarial duties supporting management and/or a physician.

This is a call center position, candidates must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and answering a heavy amount of phone calls.

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
  • Training: 4-6 weeks onsite in Melville, no absences/lateness's allowed during this time frame
  • Location: After training is completed, position becomes primarily remote. Candidates need to be comfortable commuting to Melville as needed
  • Start Date: 4/21
  • Pay Rate: $25/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Performs diversified secretarial duties including, but not limited to:
  • Typing various forms of correspondence
  • Scheduling appointments, meetings, etc.
  • Transmitting various documents using computer, mail, and/or fax
  • Recordkeeping
  • Maintaining files and filing systems
  • Taking meeting minutes
  • Receptionist duties
  • Maintaining office inventory and ordering supplies
  • Performs related duties, as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Prior clerical experience, required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
