About the Role
Title: Business Development Representative
Location: Lehi, UT
Job Description:
About Netcraft
Netcraft is the global leader in cybercrime detection and disruption. We’re a trusted partner for three of the four largest companies in the world and many large governments. We've blocked almost 200 million cyber-attacks to date, and we take down around 33% of the world's phishing attacks.
Our purpose and passion are focused on just one thing: protecting the world from cybercrime.
That passion shapes how we work, too. We’re proud of our talented team and the value each person brings, and we’ve built a workplace where people feel supported and inspired. From strong benefits and wellness programs to meaningful collaboration and team connection.
The Role
We are looking for a driven and curious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. As an BDR at Netcraft, you will be on the front lines of our commercial growth, identifying and engaging prospective clients, qualifying leads, and setting the stage for high-value sales conversations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the cybersecurity industry and develop your career in enterprise sales.
Please note that this role will be based in our Lehi (UT) office three times a week, reporting to our Director of Sales.
Day to day, this is what you’ll be doing:
- Research, identify, and prospect into ideal customer profiles across key industries (e.g., financial services, e-commerce, government).
- Generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound emails, calls, LinkedIn, and events/webinars.
- Engage with inbound leads from marketing campaigns and qualify them according to ICP and sales criteria.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and lead qualification activities in the Salesforce.
- Book discovery meetings for Account Executives and support them with background research and context.
- Collaborate with marketing to provide feedback on campaign performance and market signals.
- Stay up to date on cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, and Netcraft’s products and value proposition.
You’ll need:
- 1–2 years’ experience in a sales or business development role, ideally in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity.
- Experience selling into large enterprises or public sector organisations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct research and personalise outreach.
- Comfortable using CRM tools and sales enablement platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- High level of self-motivation and ability to manage time effectively.
- Resilient, coachable, and results-driven mindset with an interest in cybersecurity.
- Successful track record in meeting and exceeding goals.
- Ability to easily understand and pitch new services, focusing on value proposition.
- Knowledge of sales qualification methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC).
- A computer science degree or similar discipline would be very helpful.
The Rewards Package:
- 33 days vacation - includes national holidays which can be worked if you prefer
- Enhanced Sick Pay from day 1, rising to 12 weeks full pay after 6 months
- 401(k) Safe Harbor Plan with employer match
- Comprehensive private health cover, including medical, dental, vision and life insurance
- Generous enhanced Parental leave and pay entitlements
- Equity tracking scheme (eligibility criteria apply) - allowing you share in Netcraft's long term success
- Two paid Learning & Development days per year plus access to learning resources such as Udemy and Coursera to support your career
- Two Volunteering Days per year, to allow you to contribute to your wider community or charity
- Meals, snacks, and drinks provided in the office
- Employee Referral Bonus scheme
- Hybrid and flexible working options
- Spot reward bonus scheme to reward truly outstanding contributions
