Job Description:
Can you manage a busy caseload, prioritise your own workload and work effectively as part of a team? Are you a confident and experienced communicator used to dealing with the public and contractors? Enfield Council is looking to recruit a Commercial Waste Business Development Officer.
We would love to hear from you if you have experience in sales ideally in waste contract management and contract terms to meets both client needs and Council objectives. Knowledge of local business landscape and commercial waste regulations and Skilled in negotiating service agreements pricing structures.
This role offers lots of variety and you will be able to use your skills in communication, adaptability, attention to detail, organisation and customer service.
You will be part of a growing service engaging and communicating with local businesses about waste management maximising their recycling and transforming their waste behaviours working towards both London-wide and national recycling targets.
You will be based at our depot at Morson Road, but duties will be widespread throughout the Borough. It is essential that you have experience in a customer focused environment, excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for the environment and a good knowledge of Microsoft ICT systems including excel, word and outlook.
