  • Meet the supply reliability, quality, and inventory targets set by the business, working closely with the operations team to develop a feasible supply plan, drive performance, and intervene if needed.
  • Work closely with traders to optimize bp value (regardless of where it sits in the financials) and coordinate and align priorities across the ST&S and Downstream organizations, ensuring a successful balance between commercial value, customer experience, and bp reputation.
  • Identify and implement entrepreneurial biofuels blending opportunities in line with changing economic and regulatory landscapes.
  • Lead the forecasting process and financial management of Whiting Refinery RVO obligation and East of Rockies RINs generation activity.
  • Provide commercial support and thought leadership to mid- and long-term plans for the US biofuels landscape.

  • Strong tactical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Understanding of, or ability to learn quickly, bp and industry product flows in the footprint and regional supply/demand balances. Prior experience in Refining, Midstream/Supply, Operations, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Understanding of, or ability to learn quickly, bio and low carbon markets and regulatory environments and how to monetize opportunities within them.
  • Proven ability to build networks and work with diverse teams with varying objectives.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence without authority.
  • Creative mindset and ability to develop business opportunities in varied market conditions.
