Pride Health is hiring a Remote Billing and Collections Representative to support our client. This is a 4+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Details:
- Location: Remote
- Job Type: 4+ months (Possibility of extension or conversion )
- Schedule: - Full-time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday, normal business hours
- Pay Range: $15/hr - $16/hr on W2
Specific Duties:
- Checking with the insurance to verify claim status and collect unpaid claims.
- Resolve medical coding edits or denials
- Posting claims payment in Practice Management System
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- Have a solid background on medical billing/ AR Collections at least 18 mons.
- Background in calling insurance (Payer) to verify claim status and payment dispute.
- Proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate multiple programs and learn new and complex computer system applications.
- Ability to multi-task and to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product.
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience with eClinical Works Practice Management System (eCW)
- 1+ year of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools
