Summary/Overview:
KBRA Analytics, LLC is seeking a Banking Reporter: Banks & Credit Unions, Associate Director to lead research and marketing for its KBRA Financial Intelligence (KFI) product, a market-leading data platform covering all U.S. banks and credit unions. This position is based out of KBRA’s New York office.
About the Job:
- Collaborate with internal and external sources to deliver breaking news and in-depth reporting on topical banking trends.
- Create topical and recurring research pieces for a broad audience of subscribers, prospects, and other industry participants
- Deliver data-driven written research, webinar presentations, and other content types to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Build relationships with key media contacts and identify opportunities to proactively pitch published reports and product offerings.
- Develop written materials including press releases, targeted email campaigns, and other internal and external communication announcements as required.
- Work with Marketing team to promote product content and offerings for press features via social media (LinkedIn, X), email marketing, webinars, and podcasts.
- Regularly attend industry conferences with speaking engagements and host product webinars to grow brand recognition
- Write sophisticated content for an expert audience of banking, credit union, and other financial sector professionals.
- Conduct in-depth interviews with industry experts to deliver unique market insights.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Communications, Journalism, or 5-10 years in related field.
- Demonstrated background knowledge of banking and credit unions required.
- Comprehension of financial markets and macroeconomic data.
- Required advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with strong writing and editorial abilities.
- Ability to turn complex financial concepts into easily understandable content.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and SEO tools ( Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Marketo)
- Strong time management skills; ability to expertly and efficiently multitask.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Extreme attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in role but also work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus.
Salary Range:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 to $150,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
