Position Summary
The Associate Research Analyst supports the Property Tax and Research functions by conducting foundational tax research, managing administrative tasks, and assisting with compliance-related projects. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals beginning their career in tax research and analysis, offering exposure to business personal and real estate property taxes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Research and analyze compliance matters relating to Property Tax such as tax due dates, depreciation schedules, jurisdictional addresses, electronic filing and payments, and form changes

Communicate with state and local jurisdictions regarding issues/irregularities

Conduct basic research on client questions and concisely summarize findings

Accurately and proactively maintain the Tax Resource Database for address information, assessment ratios, depreciation tables, due dates, and other data

Resolve tickets created through Property Tax Research (PTR) JIRA Project
-
Facilitate collaboration between Research, Training, Compliance, and Consulting teams
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct research on department questions and summarize findings

Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications
-
Associate’s degree in related field required or equivalent work experience
-
0–1 years of experience in tax research, compliance, or related fields.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Familiar with reading and understanding legal documentation
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Effective organizational and time management skills

Moderate critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail is required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Work Schedule: Regular, 40 hours/week

Travel: Less than 10%
