About the Team

This role will be part of the Human Resources team at Nutanix, located in Barcelona. The team is dedicated to creating a collaborative and supportive environment that fosters growth and development while aligning HR strategies with the overall goals of the organization. The mission of the HR team is to enhance employee experiences, drive engagement, and support the evolving HR model in the EMEA region. The culture within the team emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and a customer-centric approach to human resources.

You will report to the Hiring Manager, who prioritizes open communication and fosters an inclusive environment that encourages feedback and collaboration. The manager's leadership style encompasses mentorship and empowerment, ensuring team members have the resources and guidance they need to succeed. This position requires a hybrid work setup, with the new hire expected to be in the office three days a week, balancing in-person collaboration with flexibility.

The role may involve occasional travel to France, allowing opportunities for face-to-face interactions with stakeholders and colleagues, which can enhance collaboration and relationship-building across regions.

Your Role

  • As the Associate Business Partner, you will be responsible for applying business knowledge, tactical execution, and HR expertise primarily in supporting the People Business Partner function and its client groups. 
  •  You will assist in providing a wide range of HR support and advice to 1st line managers. These may include: 
  • Supporting PBPs in the Southern region in implementing all People Programs successfully.
  • Partnering with 1st line managers on how to train, develop & retain their key talent, through facilitating improvements in engagement, to resolving various people matters as the guide and partner.
  • In collaboration with ER and Legal teams, support managers on employee relations matters, and own the process end to end, with a results-driven approach.
  • Working with local PBPs to facilitate preparation of information/consultations of Works Councils (in France/Spain/Germany)
  • Preparation of quarterly reports and HR related information slides for All Hand meetings whilst suggesting and implementing improvements in order to inform management of trends and issues based on the report data.
  • Partnering with the Global People Services Team to ensure accuracy and completion of employee-related data, transactions, documents and files.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent with a focus on Human Resources Management.
  • 4–6 years of HR experience, including roles as an HR Generalist and/or in HR Operations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment/labor laws and HR best practices with a focus on Spain/France.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interlock with several COE’s (Legal, GPS, compensation and Benefit teams)
  • Adaptability and resourcefulness in a dynamic environment, with sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • French or Dutch language proficiency is a valuable asset.
  • Used to work in companies where HRIS and ticketing systems are implemented
  • ERP : Workday is a plus
