Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Monitoring & Automation Analyst to join our team. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on application monitoring, performance management, operational excellence, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Splunk and AppDynamics, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with technical teams and leadership.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor application health, performance, and availability using enterprise monitoring tools.

Analyze system performance and proactively identify issues before they impact business operations.

Utilize Splunk for log analysis, troubleshooting, and operational insights.

Leverage AppDynamics for application performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and optimization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve system reliability.

Support automation initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline operational processes.

Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics for technical and leadership audiences.

Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex environment while meeting project deadlines.

Effectively communicate technical findings, recommendations, and status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

4+ years' experience with Splunk.
-
4+ years' experience with AppDynamics Application Performance Monitoring (APM).

Scripting experience (Python, Shell, PowerShell, or similar).

Understanding of automation principles and tools such as Ansible, Selenium, or similar technologies.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with leadership both within and outside the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and tools.

Experience with automation frameworks and processes.
-
Experience with Prometheus monitoring.

Experience working with Mainframe technologies.

Experience with Snowflake.
-
Additional experience with Power BI and Tableau reporting and dashboard development.
Must-Have Technologies: Splunk, AppDynamics APM, Scripting experience
