Job Description:
What We Can Achieve Together:
The Donor Engagement Manager (DEM) is a member of the Asia Pacific Regional Office Development team, reporting to the Asia Pacific Campaign Director. The DEM is responsible for creating unique travel and event experiences that connect donors and prospects to TNC's mission, Asia Pacific priorities and One Future campaign, deepening their engagement with the organisation and inspiring new, continued or increased philanthropic support. The Manager is primarily responsible for leading a programming portfolio of highly bespoke custom trips and events geared towards our highest-level donors and prospects.
The DEM will work towards meeting the strategic priorities of the Asia Pacific Development team and our One Future campaign by end-to-end project managing several highly bespoke donor trips and events per year. The DEM will work closely with internal and external partners to comprehensively plan and execute all logistics and deliverables. They will anticipate challenges, evaluate & recommend alternatives, implement solutions, and proactively communicate to key stakeholders and APRO Dev leadership throughout to successfully deliver strategic and best-in-class engagement experiences. They may be asked to liaise with regional teams on specific trip activities as appropriate. The DEM will manage guidelines, follow policies and procedures, and analyse information to achieve results and improve workflow.
The DEM must be an expert in trip planning, project management, and relationship building, as well as the systems and resources utilised by the team and apply that knowledge to developing documentation/communication, modifying processes, and participating in the enhancement of tools and approaches used by the team. They will provide advice, recommendations, and training related to colleagues across the Asia Pacific and the organization more broadly and keep up-to-date on market trends and best practices in order to improve services.
