About the Role
Title: Agent Ops Lead
Location: Dallas, TX
Department: Software & Systems Engineering
Job Description:
Job Title
AgentOps Lead (Agent Platform + Security)
This role is currently hybrid/remote, with some travel expected
ABOUT THE JOB
We are hiring a Product Manager, Applied AI to join MARS.
MARS exists to turn emerging technical capabilities into real operational leverage quickly. This role is part of MARS because the job is not long-horizon research or traditional product management. It is applied work: identifying where AI can create value now, shipping useful workflows fast, and building repeatable capabilities the rest of the company can use.
Your first focus will be a heavy internal rollout of Claude and adjacent AI-agent workflows. The goal is simple: deliver measurable value quickly. That means finding high-leverage use cases, standing up low-friction workflows, driving adoption, and improving how teams capture, share, and act on operational information.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly proactive, product-minded, operationally strong, and excited to stay current with the frontier of AI. You do not need to be a deep engineer, but you do need to be comfortable working closely with technical teams and shipping in ambiguous environments.
This role is currently hybrid/remote with up to 25% travel expected.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
-
Own applied AI workflows inside MARS from idea to rollout to day-to-day effectiveness
-
Lead the initial rollout of Claude across internal workflows with a strong bias toward usefulness, speed, and adoption
-
Identify the highest-value near-term use cases for AI agents and related tooling
-
Turn messy operational problems into simple workflows that deliver value quickly
-
Design lightweight systems across Slack, email, voice, and simple internal tools to improve visibility and execution
-
Build and maintain clear operating cadences, feedback loops, and usage norms so the workflows stay trusted and useful
-
Partner closely with engineering, IT, and security on implementation, permissions, tooling, and safe deployment
-
Use Git as a core operating tool for prompts, workflows, configuration, documentation, and change control
-
Write crisp documentation, rollout plans, playbooks, and user guidance
-
Stay current on frontier AI capabilities, products, and workflow patterns, then translate them into practical internal advantage
-
Help MARS build reusable applied AI capabilities, not just one-off projects
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
4+ years in product, operations, program, or similar ownership roles in fast-moving environments
-
Strong product judgment and the ability to scope the smallest useful version of a solution
-
Demonstrated ability to deliver value quickly in ambiguous, low-structure settings
-
Excellent written and verbal communication
-
Strong operator instincts: follow-through, urgency, attention to detail, and comfort driving work across teams
-
Familiarity with frontier AI tools and strong curiosity about AI agents, workflows, and applied use cases
-
Comfortable working closely with technical teams even if you are not yourself a deep engineer
-
Experience using Git for versioning, collaboration, documentation, or workflow management
-
Ability to create lightweight processes that increase clarity without creating bureaucracy
-
Willingness to travel up to 25%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -
Experience rolling out AI tools or AI-assisted workflows inside an organization
-
Experience with Claude, Slack-based workflows, prompt design, internal tooling, or operational dashboards
-
Experience in manufacturing, hardware, robotics, field operations, or other real-world execution environments
-
Familiarity with agent platforms, tool permissions, workspace boundaries, or prompt-injection / data-leak risks
-
Familiarity with least-privilege access models, secrets handling, logging, auditability, or incident-response concepts
-
Familiarity with Slack apps, scopes, events, routing, or production troubleshooting
-
Familiarity with Linux environments, networking basics, reverse proxies, or service hardening
-
Familiarity with Docker operations and basic container security concepts
-
Familiarity with MDM-driven provisioning, configuration distribution, or device posture workflows
-
Experience building repeatable internal playbooks for deployment, upgrades, monitoring, and operational support
