Your new role:

As the Administration Officer within the Renal Dialysis Unit, you will support clinical teams and coordinate patient services by:

  • Coordinate reception and renal outpatient clinic appointments using ieMR
  • Complete patient registrations, admissions, discharges and transfers in HBCIS
  • Provide frontline reception support, managing enquiries and calls efficiently
  • Conduct patient interviews and complete the Patient Election Form (PEF) process
  • Perform medical transcription and prepare correspondence and patient materials
  • Process requisitions and reservations using the S4Hana system
  • Support nurses and medical staff with administrative duties

About you:

You will be a proactive, organised administration professional thriving in a healthcare environment, with:

  • Strong administrative and office procedure skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with diverse audiences
  • Proven at building effective relationships with patients, clinicians and stakeholders
  • Skilled in word processing, data entry, reporting, and high-accuracy typing (70 wpm)
  • Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement
  • Committed to confidentiality, quality standards and continuous improvement
  • Medical Terminology qualification (desirable)
