10 Fully Remote Companies Currently Hiring

If one of your professional goals is to find a job that lets you work remotely (either from home or maybe from the road as a digital nomad), first, you’re not alone. And second, Remote.co is here to help. Read on for a list of 10 fully remote companies that are currently hiring full-time remote workers who can be based anywhere in the U.S or the world.

The Current State of Remote Work

According to Gallup’s State of the American Workplace, last year 43 percent of Americans said they spent at least some time working remotely, up from 39 percent in 2012.

But surveys have found that the most popular form of remote work is actually working from home 100 percent of the time, without ever having to go to an office. 86 percent of people looking for flexible jobs would prefer to work remotely all of the time, compared to 49 percent who are interested in working from home only some of the time.

Either way, remote workers report being happier at work than those who don’t telecommute at all.

How Remote Work Benefits Workers and Companies

When it comes to job satisfaction, people who work from home are 48 percent more likely to rate their job satisfaction a “10” (out of 10) on the happiness scale than those working in an office. 65 percent of workers think they would be more productive working remotely than in a traditional workplace.

The top reasons people think they are more productive at home versus the office include fewer interruptions from colleagues, fewer distractions, less frequent meetings, and minimal office politics.

Companies report big benefits from remote work as well, as Remote.co has found by interviewing over 100 remote company leaders.

Those leaders most often cite the following as the biggest benefits of having a remote workforce: real estate savings, broader access to talent pools regardless of geography, better retention, and a more engaged, loyal, and productive workforce.
