This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective on July 1, 2026.

JOB DUTIES:

As a Workforce Consultant, you will:

• Partner with clients on an exciting journey to craft and launch personalized job search strategies. Explore resources and support systems tailored to empower clients in choosing, securing and thriving in their dreams jobs.
• Delivering impactful, tailored services that recognize diversity and cater to unique client needs. From seasoned professionals to newcomers, including veterans, individuals with disabilities, justice involved people, those with limited formal education, the unhoused, and seniors, to empower each client to unlock their potential and achieve their goals.
• Transform client's job searches into success stories by crafting compelling resumes and honing interview skills. Identify and dismantle personal barriers, to empower clients to confidently pursue their career aspirations and secure fulfilling employment.
• Deliver tailored business services that connect employers with effective worker recruitment and retention strategies to build thriving teams.
• Foster and nurture dynamic partnerships with business, educational institutions, economic development organizations and diverse community stakeholders. Collaborating networks that drive growth, innovation, and community engagement, making a lasting impact on collective success.
• Conduct thorough inspections of worker housing facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates with a strong mix of the attributes listed in the above Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) in the fields of personnel, business administration, counseling, education, workforce services, human services or other related fields are desired. Candidates may demonstrate competency in the KSAs through at least five years' experience, formal education (including certificates, credentials, or degree-based programs), or a combination of both. Candidates should clearly describe how their experience and education meet the identified KSAs and provide examples in their cover letter that demonstrate their qualifications.

• Any combination of equivalent experience and education to successfully perform the essential functions of the position will be considered.

Preferred Experience: Case management, client assessment, business services, networking (including utilization of community resources), and labor market information, including job development and placement skills.
