KenCrest is seeking a Director of our Birth to Five Program to lead all aspects of implementation of high quality, cost efficient early intervention services in Southeastern, PA, provide continuous improvements within the department as well as adhere to State requirements, support a culture of collaboration, communication, relationship building, innovation, customer service, and teamwork and utilize data to present metrics to larger audiences about program successes and challenges.
As our Director of Birth to Five, you will:
- Manage and oversee program operations, systems and processes
- Participate in the planning and implementation of OCDEL, County or KenCrest policy/process updates.
- Lead the implementation of new programs and assist with new grant opportunities.
- Communicate internal and external updates and ensure interventionists are informed.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships internally and externally.
- Work collaboratively with other departments (Interdependence) to ensure program processes are supported.
- Build positive relationships with Coordinators, build confidence and competency.
- Collaborate with Executive Director to ensure stability and growth in our department.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with funders.
- Monitor referral process ensuring successful, seamless process in all Counties, and ensure Staff/contractor productivity.
- Proficient in reporting information on program P&L
- Implement Conflict Management and Reflective Practices
- Use data to report statistical information about all aspects of program operations.
- Actively participate in Executive Director Meetings reviewing KPI data.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Special Education
Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum ten (10) years’ experience working with young children
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience working with children with special needs and their parents/caregivers
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in management (supervisor, manager, director)
- Work experience with day-to-day operations of programs, supervision and program implementation.
- Ability to lead the work of others in a reflective way through respectful interactions and create a culture that is based upon positive collaboration and employee engagement.
- Ability to analyze data and make business decisions based on the data.
